Will window film cause my windows to break?

Most window films are safe for both single-pane and dual-pane windows. But not ALL of them are. That’s where we come in. Our window film manufacturers provide everything we need to be sure the film we apply to your specific glass type will not cause breakage or seal failure.


Will window film make my rooms dark?

If you want it to, yes! But most people don’t want to their rooms to become dark and gloomy. During your onsite consultation, our experienced designers will help you select the right shade of film for each room.


How do I clean my windows after the installation?

Clean your windows as you normally would. Regular glass cleaning products (like Windex) are just fine as long as they are not abrasive. Be sure to tell your professional window cleaner that we have installed film on the glass, they’ll know what to do. If you need a professional window cleaning company, we have reliable, local companies that we can recommend.


How long does window film last?

We use only the highest quality, scratch-resistant window films. Residential applications usually come with a lifetime written warranty; commercial applications are warranted for 5 to 15 years. With proper care you can expect your window film to last 15-20 years or more.


Can window film be removed?

Yes! Window film is as permanent as you want it to be. If ever needed, we can remove the film safely without damage to the glass.


Is window film expensive?

Window film is one of the most affordable window treatments available. When you consider the many benefits of window film like lower energy bills, extended life of furniture and flooring, and the health benefits of reduced UV light, it’s very economical and actually a great investment!


Who does the installation and how long does it take?

Your window film will be install by trained professionals. We have the equipment to reach the highest windows even in challenging situations like stairwells and balconies. Most installations can be completed in a day or two but we’re NEVER in a hurry to finish—quality always comes first, even that means extra days.
